Hello dear blog readers. We are in Tuscany today, on way to Florence. We have had a few days of touring in Umbria and Toscana, having taken the train there from Ferrara.
We have a couple blog entries lined up to post but what we’re lacking is a decent internet connection that would let us upload the photos as well. In my opinion the posts a bit dull without pictures so you’ll have to wait.
After Florence we are going to Paris somehow, not sure exactly how since Italian trains are more miss than hit when it comes to carrying bikes. What is certain however is that we are riding in Eurostar luxury to London, it is all booked.
What I can tell you at this point is that it’s nice and hot here, the hills are steep and uphill both ways. The caffé flows freely, the gelato flows freely… all over your hand as soon as you take the cone. Vicki likes olives now (certain types). And you can buy wine on tap 1,20€ per litre or as I have discovered today in little 250mL cartons at the supermarket.
Ciao for now,
Rodney & Vicki
